I noticed on my calendar a few minutes ago that tonight (11-16-05) is supposed to be a full moon. I hate that! *dread*
Ok, i'm not really a superstious person or anything but i am a nurse. Seems that whenever its a full moon, all the wierdest s*** happens...
crazy patients act even crazier & lots of other odd stuff happens while i'm at work. When i was an OB nurse, seems that was our busiest nights. Now i work on a Cardiac floor- now its "CLEAR!".

Anyone else experience odd stuff when its a full moon?

My dad used to always be drunk on full moons I bet if I called him tonight he'd bore me with some random story from his childhood that doesn't make sense because half of it is made up.

My cat normally has a better success rate at catching the odd mouse during a Full Moon.

Just like i dreaded, the full moon last nite gave way to mayhem at work. We were slammed from the ER, our dinner trays were way late, one of the interns just freaked (scared or something?) and yelled "call the family cause she's dying" and the family was standing right there! Not a pretty site. There was this lady stayin' with one of my patients--- she was totally nuts (or ON something, lol). The patient got to his room and was doing fine after his surgery and he asked me where we had placed his clothes- the lady staying with him said she hadn't seen his stuff. He did not arrive to our unit with anything. I called to the department where he had started his day, they didn't have his stuff either. Grrr! I ended up going all over this huge hospital where i work to FINALLY find his personal belongings in a waitng room that the wierd lady had forgotten she had been. I guess you had to be there but, omg, this lady was psycho! There were plenty of other "oddities" during my 8 hour shift that just leave me knowing that wierd s*** sure happens LOTS when its a full moon.

Absolutely, my mom and I have 4 cats, and they go nuts at the full moon, chasing each other around, howling, and just generally being weird. Lots of the time we just don't know what to make of it.

when I turned 12 they started having an effect- those days have always been extremely bad days, but the real killer for me is halloween, for the past 3 years it's always been a bad enough day for me to attempt suicide multiple times. so next haloween I'm staying home at all costs and just not waking up....
